Port Isaac has been welcoming visitors for more than 100 years, but unlike many villages in Cornwall, it still retains it traditional character, and remains unspoilt.
It is a cluster of pretty white washed cottages, huddled around a picturesque harbour which is the heart of a thriving fishing community. It's steep hills, narrow streets and harbour are flanked by majestic cliffs towering above the Atlantic. Port Isaac has numerous restaurants specialising in local seafood, shops (250 yds) for all those essentials, a pub (300 yds) and a wide selection of local arts and crafts.
Within a few miles of Port Isaac, for the more energetic, there are opportunities for sailing, surfing, horse riding, cycling on the Camel Trail, several golf courses, and beautiful wide sandy beaches for just relaxing. The coastal footpath runs through Port Isaac, and there are plenty of well signed inland walks too.
