Port Isaac is a charming and vibrant fishing village with a small working harbour where catches are landed daily. Port Isaac is the fictional "Port Wenn" and home of the TV series Doc Martin. Port Isaac is the quintessential Cornish village with narrow winding streets lined with whitewashed cottages that head down to the harbour and there’s plenty to do and see. A great range of restaurants are available in and around the harbour including the Golden Lion Inn.

PORT GAVERNE

Trewetha has a number of footpaths that lead down the valley and along the cliffs towards Port Isaac harbour and the tiny hamlet of Port Gaverne where there is a small unspoiled beach that is accessible at low tide. Port Gaverne is a few minutes walk away with beautiful beach and Port Gaverne Hotel / Inn - an early 17th Century Inn, specialising in local produce, particularly seafood. Port Gaverne Cove is a small sheltered National Trust owned sand and pebble beach – ideal for swimming and exploring rock pools.

A short walk from and you’re on the South West Coast Path. The North Cornwall section of the coastal path others miles of scenic National Trust owned coastline, famous for its wildlife and scenic beauty.
