Home farm was recognised and purchased by the National Trust in the mid 90's as a special place of interest, its setting above Boscastle, provides one of the most spectacular views in Cornwall. Your hosts Jackie and Robin offer you the finest Cornish hospitality in this stunning holiday home with spacious accommodation, there are two double rooms and one twin bedded room, all bedrooms are en-suite. Tastefully decorated and furnished, centrally heated for all year use, all rooms have their own colour TV, satellite link and tea and coffee making facilities. Home Farm is a mixed working farm of 145 acres, consisting of beef suckler cows, sheep and corn. The farm lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with picturesque views of the heritage coast, the historic village of Boscastle and the harbour. The footpaths around Home Farm are linked to Thomas Hardy, famous poet and author, Hardy met his wife to be Emma at the nearby church of St. Juliot's and the spectacular coastline and walks within the area were a source of inspiration for much of his work. Boscastle has a number of fine Inns and restaurants. Walkers will love the paths that follow along dramatic coastal cliffs. During spring and early summer the area is ablaze with, colour from the abundant display of wild flowers. For those who wish to travel a little further there are many sandy beaches nearby, Polzeath, Daymer Bay, Trebarwith Strand, Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven. Also Tintagel Castle, National Trust houses and gardens, Golfing, Horse riding and The Eden Project (40 minutes) are a few of the many enjoyable places to visit within easy reach from Home Farm. For the more active there is golf, cycling, horse riding and even microlight flights from nearby Davidstow. Whenever you decide to visit Cornwall you will find something to capture your interest. How to find us:Map Ref SX105 906 On the A30 from Exeter head for Cornwall on dual carriageway. 3 miles past Launceston is a junction for North Cornwall A395 take this road for approx. 15 miles then follow signs for Boscastle B3266. As you descend into Boscastle there is a hard sharp loft hand bend, off this is a right turn off and our Home Farm sign is on junction, take this turn off to next junction, turn right by cottage then next left down to Home Farm.
