Within a few
miles of Wooldown Farm are the Blue Flag Supervised
beaches of Widemouth Bay and Bude,
both renowned for their good surf. The resort town of Bude has a
good selection of quality shops
and supermarkets.
Wooldown
Farm is situated on the outskirts of the village
of Marhamchurch, with its
family friendly pub/restaurant.
Cornwall has 300 miles of coastal footpath, which forms
part of the South West Coast Path. A very popular route is to take
the foot path along the old canal
into Bude.
North Cornwall has some great
cycling coastal routes.
The coastline is the highest in Cornwall, offering spectacular views.
There are a great variety of routes to enjoy from idyllic rural
routes, family routes to challenging off road routes.

are seven surf beaches to
choose from within 5 miles from Wooldown Farm. There are several surf
schools in Bude.
Golf courses in
the area include Ivyleaf, Holsworthy, Trethorne and Launceston. 2
miles is the Bude & North Cornwall Golf Club which is located
in the center of Bude surrounded by the town, coast and countryside.
The Tamar Lakes are just 20 minutes
(drive) away, as well as fishing offers many recreational activities,
such as windsurfing and kayaking. |
