Porthtowan is a picturesque Cornish village hidden away on the north coast of Cornwall - between St Agnes and Portreath.

This section of Cornish coastline is situated midway between the bustling towns of St Ives and Newquay ( each approximately 12 miles away). Porthtowan is a very popular holiday destination due to Porthtowan's golden sandy beach, cliff walks and outstanding natural beauty.

In Porthtowan, you can catch a wave, hang out in the sand dunes or take to the coastal path for beautiful walks as far as you wish to go.

The views are breathtaking as the heath covered rocky cliffs, dotted with Cornish mine ruins, give way to the the clear blue of the Atlantic Ocean and its sandy beaches. Also positioned on Porthtowan beach is the fabulous Blue Bar which offers excellent food, live music and is generally just a cool place to kick back.

Porthtowan on Cornwalls North Coast is a great place to enjoy a drink watching the surfers ride the waves or have an evening meal as the sun sets over the ocean. You then just have a short walk home to the comfort of your room at Wild Campion House.
