Farm has six holiday cottages sleeping 2 to 6 people in a peaceful
setting covering 158 acres of some of the loveliest countryside in North
Cornwall.
It has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and from the top of the farm spectacular views of the sea and moors.
The Roundhouse is a one bedroomed cottage with a king sized bed and en suite bathroom. It has exposed beams, oak floors, and oak lintels over the doors and windows. It was a traditional Cornish Roundhouse where a horse would walk around the building turning a huge wheel which worked the chaffing and milling machines in the adjacent barn.
The Swallows Nest sleeps 5 people and comprises of a single level accommodation. It has two bedrooms; one double, and the other with bunk beds and a single bed.
The dining kitchen / lounge is open plan with French doors opening out onto the patio where there is a picnic bench.
The Owls Roost sleeps 6 people. It comprises of a single level accommodation which backs on to a large garden with picnic bench. It has two bedrooms; one double, and the other which sleeps four and has both twin beds and bunk beds. The dining kitchen / lounge is open plan and has spectacular views of the farms surrounding countryside.
The Haywain sleeps 4 / 5 people. It has two bedrooms; one double, and the other with twin beds. It has an upstairs bathroom. A small extra childs bed is available for this room upon request.
Downstairs consists of an open plan dining kitchen and lounge, where the French windows open on to a patio with a picnic bench.
The Stable sleeps 4 people. It has two bedrooms; one double, and the other with twin beds. It has an upstairs bathroom. The downstairs consists of an open plan dining kitchen and lounge.
The Glenmore is set in a large self contained garden with superb views of the surrounding countryside. It has three bedrooms; one double, one twin, and one with bunk beds. The Glenmore has a separate lounge, kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. The lounge opens out on to a patio, and there is a picnic bench in the garden under the apple tree.
Some of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall are within a few minutes drive from Trentinney Farm Holiday Cottages. Polzeath, Port Quin, Padstow, Rock, Tintagel, Boscastle, Camelford, Wadebridge, and many more are all within a short drive.
Polzeath is one of the finest beaches in the British Isles with fine golden sand and rock pools. It is popular with Malibu surfers and those who prefer a boogie or belly board. Rock offers sailing, wind surfing, water-skiing, and fishing trips. For golfing enthusiasts there are several golf clubs in the area.
Lanhydrock, Trerice, Pencarrow and Prideaux Place are all historic houses with beautiful gardens, all are within easy reach of Trentinney Farm.
Port Isaac, Tintagel (The legendary home of King Arthurs castle), Boscastle, and Rock are all close by. A short ferry ride from Rock will take you to Padstow, with its picturesque harbour, stone cottages, and restaurants.
The Camel Trail is very popular with walkers and cyclists (bicycles can be hired at Wadebridge). The trail follows the beautiful River Camel downstream to Padstow with spectacular views of the estuary, and upstream to Wenford with its beautiful scenery and abundance of wild birds.
