The town itself is a maze of quaint little
cobbled streets with High street shops, a wide variety of speciality
shops, a wide selection of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms.
Four main beaches surround the town, from safe bathing in the harbour
for young children to surfing the Atlantic rollers.
Cliff walks directly from the Thurlestone can be enjoyed to Porthkidney Sands and Lelant to the East and St Ives to the West.
