Sterts Open Air Theatre at Upton Cross has a range of outdoor
performances during the summer months.
Bodmin Moor lies 1 mile to the west, a paradise for walkers
and cyclists. Minions, Cornwall's highest village, is only 2 1/2 miles
away with the Mining Heritage Centre, Cheesewring and Hurlers Stone.
Sibleyback Lake Country Park offers cycling, canoeing,
sailing, windsurfing, fishing and much more.
Morwellham Quay on the border with Devon, is a World Heritage
Site and further afield is the beautiful Tamar Valley and Dartmoor.
Cornwall has over 50 gardens to visit. In the immediate
area are Heligan, Pinsla, Caerhays, Llanhydrock, Trebah, Trebartha, Pencarrow
and of course the famous Eden Project.
The South Coast of Cornwall lies 14 miles away with the
picturesque fishing ports of Looe and Polperro. The gloriously rugged
north coastline of Cornwall is within easy reach along with the popular
surfing beaches.
