The Sunday House's elevated position affords
enchanting river views from the upper levels and the secluded south-facing
patio area.
A small stream flows a steep course down the
bank to the side of the property and supplies the calming and gentle sound
of running water.
The Sunday House, is set in an area
of outstanding natural beauty, ideally located on the west bank of the
Fowey Estuary, an area of natural beauty and one of Englands loveliest
estuaries.
Truly an individual dwelling, spacious,
detached, coupled with high specification to detail and attention, the
Sunday House provides the perfect location to enjoy the idyllic views
of the river, countryside and boats that drift by.
ACCOMMODATION
The Sunday House comprises of:-
The Dining Hall For intimate meals by the open fire there is
a wooden dining table with seating for eight.
The Drawing Room With
dramatic unsurpassed views of the River Fowey. A delightful room with
tall ceilings and exposed beams. The original chapel organ can be found
repositioned on the rear wall as a decorative feature. The drawing room
features Sky TV, VHS video, and DVD player. From here there is access
via French doors to the terraced garden with marvellous river views.

The South Facing Terrace
The delightful secluded south facing terrace provides ample seating for
summer barbeques, sunny retreats, sunset cocktails, while watching the
boats sail by.
The Master Bedroom An exquisite 5'
antique king size French bed awaits you in this romantic master suite
closest to the moon. A stunning room with river views with ensuite bathroom.
The Guest Bedrooms
Situated on the ground floor are two uniquely designed bedrooms both with
ensuite bathrooms. Enter each bedroom through Neo-Gothic style arched
doors. Each bedroom is decorated with your comfort in mind.
The Children's Bedroom
has been decorated throughout with a nautical theme and is suitable for
up to three children with three 3 x 26 single beds and a separate
half bathroom. Flat screen TV with built in DVD player. Games provided.
The Kitchen and Breakfast room
- Bespoke kitchen, with beech and granite work surfaces is located next
to the dining hall. Rangemaster oven, microwave, convection oven, dishwasher,
refrigerator and freezer. The kitchen is fully appointed with appliances
and all possible amenities for easy meal preparation and dining.
The Utility and Laundry room
New LG washer and dryer and wall mounted Honeywell thermostat heating
and hot water controls.
LOCATION
Our location in mid-Cornwall makes us ideally situated
for touring the south and north coasts, as well as wonderful places to
visit and numerous pubs and restaurants for food and drink. There is always
plenty to do and see. Close by are golden sandy beaches, coves to explore,
scenic coastal paths to walk, beautiful Cornish gardens, National Trust
properties, quaint fishing villages, river trips, ample golf courses to
choose from and, of course, the famous Eden Project plus much much more
