Mawes is a wonderful haven to explore, with beaches and all local amenities within
walking distance. Ideal for swimming, sailing, walking or just relaxing, with
ferry boats that will take you to Falmouth, Truro, and Place, there is no need
to use the car if you so desire. St Mawes, with its own Castle
built by Henry VIII, is set on the coastal path which makes it a wonderful walking
area, such as the Roseland Peninsula. Many family attractions are within about
an hour's drive. For example The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, National
Trust properties, Falmouth Maritime museum and many more besides.
Newly refurbished and redecorated, Seaspray apartment
has a light and airy modern seaside feel with fabulous views across the
harbour to the Roseland Peninsula beyond. There is a spacious open plan
lounge/ diner with beautiful sea views, TV/DVD, Radio/CD player and new
furnishings, including a large comfortable sofa easily converting to a
very generous sized double bed. The carpeted bedroom, with sea views,
has all new furnishings with a double bed, storage furniture, and a large
fitted wardrobe.
Seaspray has a brand new fully tiled shower room with
washbasin and vanity unit, shaver socket and heated towel rail, plus the
benefit of a separate toilet with wash hand basin.
The fully
fitted kitchen has all new electrical appliances including, oven/grill, fridge,
kettle, toaster and microwave. It also has new crockery, cutlery, glassware, tea
towels etc. The flat has a generous storage cupboard in the hallway
which also holds the hot water tank. The heating is run by night storage heaters. There
is the added bonus of use of the roof garden at Beach Hall, fully enclosed, which
has stunning panoramic views over the Percuil River, St Mawes harbour and the
coastline beyond. Here you can enjoy relaxing with your morning coffee, lunch,
or an evening drink before the sun goes down on another perfect day. Laundry
facilities are available just down the corridor from the flat, with coin operated
washing machines and tumble dryer.
The car park is very near to Beach Hall where a weekly
ticket can be purchased.
