A bed and breakfast for you to enjoy the simplicity of coastal life, blend into our relaxed lifestyle even for just one night to recharge within our natural surroundings of Cornwall, be it countryside or coastal, with comfort and privacy in mind.

South Lynstone Farm is a country farmhouse dated back to the 1920's, in its heyday it was a 275 acre dairy farm stopping the holiday traffic in its tracks at milking time. Today it is a beautifully renovated home with bed and breakfast establishment which the owners wish guests to enjoy their time in Cornwall.
The farmhouse is located on the coastal road between Bude and Widemouth Bay and is ideally located for exploring the surrounding area, with a 2 minute walk to the South West Coastal Path and 15 minute walk to the sandy beaches and Victorian town of Bude, where Bude canal meets the sea at the lockgate. Surfing, cycling, touring gardens, activity parks, walking or taking a gentle pace - there is plenty for all to do.

Accommodation

Step into our courtyard with its abundance of pretty pots and plants, where a self-contained entrance for your home comforts and privacy leads to the dining room and newly decorated themed bedrooms.

Our Country Room is simply delightful, with garden and countryside views. There is en-suite facilities with shower, freeview tv, tea/coffee making facilities, hot chocolate too! A comfortable double bed with nice crisp linen and fluffy towels awaits you.

Our Coastal Room is generous in all proportions, be it bedroom/en-suite size, homely seaside feeling or stunning countryside views. This room is either a luxury double or a family room, with double bed and proper sprung sofa bed!

Start your day in our tranquil dining room where a traditional breakfast using fresh local Cornish produce is served of which the eggs are provided by our own hens! Relax in the conservatory, alfresco dining (weather permitting). Enjoy elevated views from our decking area amongst the large landscaped garden.

We have off-road parking and complimentary welcome tray on arrival.

Location

Should you wish to venture further afield, going north we have the rugged cliffs of Hartland Quay - where pirates smuggled various contraband into Cornwall -, to the privately owned estate of Clovelly with its cobbled street down to the pretty fishing harbour Going south, we have the harbour of Boscastle now beautifully restored from the 2004 floods, Tintagel with mystical tales and the birthplace of King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, Port Isaac, the location for 'Doc Martin', 'Saving Grace' to name a few, with its working fishing harbour of which you can buy freshly caught crab and lobster, well known Padstow with its boutiques and local eateries in plenty, or you could head for the moors with the wild ponies and vast sparse landscape.
