Smugglers Rest Cottage has 2 entrance doors onto a sun trap terrace with stunning views over long ships and Sennen cove. If you are lucky you will see dolphins, basking sharks and you might even swim with a seal. Sennen is a great place for children, with a huge sandy beach and lifeguards in the summer months. For older children there are surf schools, and the cottage has Wi-Fi. There are beautiful walks along the coastal path. The cottage is open plan, with a Rayburn to cook on. All the bedrooms and living rooms have views over the bay. The cottage oozes peace, and the wood burning stove keeps it cosy in winter. It is 3 minutes walk to the beach, the shop is at the bottom of the hill. There are steps to the cottage (so not suitable for people with mobility problems). Parking is nearby.

There is a spacious terrace at the front of the house where you can dine outside at the garden table, relax on the bench or use the recliner chairs. It is a sun trap in the afternoons in the summer. There is a shed where you can store bicycles and surfboards at the back of the house. You can surf at Sennen or if you are experienced, at the next beach Gwynver. Learn to surf at SmartSurf School where you will get excellent tuition. You can hire boards in Sennen, and there is a great surf shop. The Beach Cafe on the beach has indoor and outdoor dining and in the summer has a barbeque every evening.
