Retired advert for Perran Springs,
Perran Springs offered camping and caravan holidays on these pages between April 2001 and April 2017. The campsite is set within twenty-one acres of a luscious, tranquil, sheltered countryside valley located approximately two and a half miles from the golden sands and white surf of Perranporth Beach, and only six miles from the popular holiday resort of Newquay. We provide a central base from which to experience the picturesque county of Cornwall.
Perran Springs is locates just 2½ miles from the beach at Perranporth and just a five minutes drive from Newquay, Fistral Beach and Holywell Bay.
Perran Springs Holiday Park features three "coarse fishing" lakes : the Mayfly, Butterfly and Dragonfly lakes, all three fishing lakes are well stocked with specimens including tench, bream, rudd, roach and carp of up to 20lb. The on site shop sells tackle, rods and other fishing bits and bobs, with angling expert Andrew on hand to give advice. You'll need a permit to fish at the lakes on site which you can collect reception.
Perran Springs is also a nature conscious park and has set up bits and pieces all over to encourage both local wildlife and curious minds, including a nature pond, nature trail and butterfly, bug and bee garden; look out on and around the site for moths and lizards too. If the kids still need to let off steam, the childrens playground, Fox Recreation Meadow and running around the various open spaces should tire them out nicely.
Perran Springs is a Pet friendly Park - even the family canine will be content here, as Perran Springs is dog-friendly and has lots of opportunities around for walks. The local pub, The New Inn within walking distance at Goonhavern, accepts well-behaved dogs in its beer garden.
