Lelant, St Ives Bay

Lelant a beautiful village situated 10 minutes walk from Porthkidney beach part of the popular St Ives Bay with its miles of fine sandy beach and dunes. It is ideally located for exploring the whole of the southwest of Cornwall. Lelant is notably 10 minutes drive away from St Ives known as the 'Jewel of Cornwall' which can also be accessed by walking along the coastal path or a 10 minute ride on the picturesque coastal train.

Lelant boasts three family pubs, a waterside cafe and a stylish wine shop/deli with restaurant.

A scenic coastal link train and frequent buses run from Lelant to and from St. Ives 'The Jewel of Cornwall' a mere 10 minutes away.

Alternatively leave the village by foot instead for the 10 minutes walk to 'Porth Kidney' with its miles of fine sandy beach and dunes, or join the coastal path and walk to St. Ives in good time for a well earned lunch! If you prefer cycling take the cycle routes from the village to nearby Hayle, St. Michael's Mount or Penzance.
