Pengelly is an ideal walking and touring base with the coast being only six miles away where the activities include sailing, surfing, golf, riding and coastal walks. The Camel Trail, The Saints Way, and the award winning Pencarrow House are nearby.
Several National Trust houses and gardens are within easy reach. The popular resort of Padstow and the Eden Project are 20 and 35 minutes drive respectively.
We are situated just one and a half miles from the bustling town of Wadebridge which thrives alongside the ebb and flow of the River Camel.
The town offers a wide variety of things to see and do including riverside walks, unique shopping, pubs and restaurants; indoor/outdoor facilities and of course, the nationally recognised Camel Trail with 17 miles of traffic-free walking and cycling.

The Shepherd Huts are situated on a 410 acre farm of which you have total access over; these beautifully furnished Shepherd huts, each is totally private with their own hot tubs are set in the hamlet of Burlawn, 1.5 miles from Wadebridge and 6 miles from Polzeath.
Providing the ultimate romantic escape these Shepherd huts are ideal for a couple wanting to distance themselves from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Just a 20 minute stroll through the stunning far farmland will take you to glorious Camel Trail from where you can continue an unforgetable walk onto Padstow and enjoy all this iconic town has to offer before returning to the farm amid all the peace and tranquility that surrounds you here.
Regardless of the time of year you can be sitting in your hot tub here enjoying the far reaching countryside views without a care in the world. With a woodburner to add to the character and ideal for cosy nights in these Shepherd huts which are open plan featuring a living area ,bedroom and a bathroom offering a holiday base with a difference in a totally relaxing location.
For dining out your options are endless with Wadebridge being so close with award winning pubs and restaurants and a little further afield, Padstow, Polzeath, Rock and Port Isaac offering some of Cornwall's top restaurants all within a short drive. Our Self Catering Six Berth Caravan is tucked away to the front side of Pengelly, offering quiet seclusion and stunning views across the valley towards Wadebridge.
Contained within the caravan is a fully fitted kitchen ideal for the early morning English Breakfasts.
