'home from home', in an off-road location in St Merryn village, is furnished
& equipped to a high standard.
St Merryn is 10 min. drive from Padstow
& 30 min. drive from The Eden Project.
Patio doors lead out on to a sheltered south facing garden
with patio and garden furniture & parking is available outside the house.
The house is cleaned to a high standard and we regret that
pets are not allowed in consideration to those guests who have allergies.
Bedding is provided.
Padstow and the Camel Estuary

The Camel Estuary - Rock
7 golden sandy beaches
are within 3-10 minutes drive from the house. The Trevose golf
course is 3 min. drive away near Constantine beach. The house is available
for holiday letting all year round. For those who wish to come in the
Winter the house is gas centrally heated and double glazed.
St Merryn has
2 excellent pubs (including the Cornish Arms, recently purchased
by Rick Stein), an excellent 'chippie', a Chinese and an Indian take-away
in addition to local stores with Post Office, an excellent bakery (pasties!!!)
and a garage/hardware/camping ware.
Further excellent pubs/restaurants are located in the surrounding
villages and towns. Padstow (a beautiful old Cornish fishing port) is
the home of the Rick Stein seafood restaurant
(as seen on TV) and many other excellent cafes, restaurants and pubs surround
this picturesque harbour.
Rock is a ferry ride
away on the other side of the estuary and Wadebridge is approximately
10 miles away - a charming market town on the river Camel with a number
of individual/interesting shops and cafes/restaurants.
Water sports are available
at local beaches (there are 7 lovely beaches in the St Merryn locality)
especially surfing. (boards & wet-suits available for hire in St Merryn
and at most beaches) Water-skiing, sailing (including lessons) & banana
boat at Rock, a short ferry ride from Padstow.
The Jubilee Queen
a large passenger boat will take you around the coastline from the Estuary.
The Camel Trail,
a picturesque cycle trail from Bodmin
to Padstow (halfway point at Wadebridge) (following the river to
the mouth of the Camel estuary).
Golf at Trevose
Head course. Eden -30 min. drive. Beautiful coastal and woodland walks.
Local manor houses, at Padstow (Prideaux house), Wadebridge (Pencarrow
House) and Bodmin (Lanhydrock House). Information is provided on arrival
for such place as Flambards Theme Park,
