Mousehole, Cornwall There is a pleasant, small tidal beach in the harbour area. While only a hundred yards along the shore path there are delightful rock pools where children can play and fish to their hearts content. Nearby there is also, during the summer, a cafe with a panoramic view across the bay as far as The Lizard. There are several excellent larger beaches within the area, including Porthcurno, Sennen and St Ives. Mousehole is a typical Cornish coastal village within easy reach of many delights to be found in West Cornwall, including: St. Michael's Mount - reached from Marazion by walking along the sea causeway. The Minack Theatre - a spectacular open-air auditorium built into the cliff face at Porthcurno. Shows are presented regularly throughout the Summer. The Lizard Lighthouse. Land's End - only ten miles away. Sennen Cove - popular for it's surfing. A Sea service to the Isles of Scilly. The traditional Cornish towns of St Ives, Helston and Penzance. |
