There are numerous beaches to visit, within a short distance of Tintagel, including: Castle beach, and sandy beaches such as Trebarwith Strand, Bossiney Cove and Polzeath. There are also some lovely coastal walks along the National Trust footpaths. There are also wonderful gardens to see such as Lanhydrock and The Lost Gardens of Heligan and at St Austell, The Eden Project.
