Located in an ideal riverside
setting at the heart of the stunningly beautiful and picturesque
village of Boscastle, just a stones throw from the famous Elizabethan
Harbour; The Olde Carpenter's Cottage is one of the most idyllic
holiday spots in the county.
The Olde Carpenter's Cottage is situated on the left
hand side of the harbour with all the windows looking out across
the river to Penally Hill.

Boscastle
Boscastle is a small hamlet on the north Cornwall
coast. It is famous for the ancient harbour complete with 'blow
hole' (visible either side of high tide).
The spectacular ravine and harbour at Boscastle and
much of the surrounding countryside and coastline are in the care
of the National Trust.
Boscastle has a number of fine Inns and
restaurants.
Boscastle is an outstandingly beautiful part of North
Cornwall, with excellent access to the coastal path. Walkers will
love the paths that follow along dramatic coastal cliffs. During
spring and early summer the area is ablaze with, colour from the
abundant display of wild flowers.
For those who wish to travel
a little further there are many sandy
beaches nearby, Polzeath, Daymer Bay, Trebarwith
Strand, Widemouth Bay
and Crackington Haven. Also
Tintagel Castle, National Trust houses and gardens,
Golfing, Horse riding and The
Eden Project (40 minutes) are a few
of the many enjoyable places to visit within easy reach from
The Olde Carpenter's Cottage.
