The Old Coach House was built about 320 years ago as a coach store and stables for a manor house that was knocked down 150 years ago to make way for a new road.
At the end of the 19th century, the building was converted into 2 private dwellings.
However, in more recent times it was turned back into a single establishment, restored and modernised to offer a high standard of bed and breakfast accommodation.

This is a small, friendly establishment with only eight bedrooms, where guests are provided with personal, individual service and always receive a warm welcome.
The B&B is - located on the Tintagel Road - near the top of the old village, and accommodation has been awarded with 4 Stars by the English Tourism Council and the AA.
There are two bedrooms on the ground floor for easy access, and one of these bedrooms is equipped for wheelchair use. In addition to the normal facilities the ground floor room has low-level fixtures and fittings, a wheel-in shower, handrails and grab bars.
Guests can relax - in the garden - or on the patio, which offers a scenic view over the village.
A barbecue is available on one of the patios if guests wish to cook the fish they have caught [!] or even try some of the farm products that are available locally.
Many people visit Boscastle for a relaxing holiday outside of the main season:
- In Spring, snowdrops, primroses, and bluebells carpet the hedgerows and woodlands
- In Autumn the days are often warm and sunny
- In Winter the Atlantic waves breaking are a magnificent sight
