One and two/three bedroom beautifully renovated Grade II Listed cottages (sleeps 2 and 5 each with garden. Views of St Fimbarrus Church. Located in the heart of the waterside town of Fowey. Restaurants, amenities and a sandy beach are within walking distance. Lots of lovely walks around the superb National Trust land and beautiful coastlines and beaches that surround Fowey. Golfers may wish to use the extensive facilities at the Lostwithiel Golf and Country Club.

Voted one of the top three 'best places to live' in Britain by Country Life magazine. Fowey is a bustling sailing port on the Fowey Estuary, set in stunning countryside, with dramatic beaches nearby. Known for its sailing, walks, stunning views, and vibrant streets, Fowey is a gem in Cornwall and inspiration to many of Daphne Du Maurier's books. It is also home to the annual Du Maurier literary festival and the Royal Sailing Regatta. Fowey has an eclectic mix of independent shops and colourful restaurants, pubs etc. Apart from the sailing Fowey has access to some of Cornwalls fantastic beaches, kayaking, stunning walks and within easy reach of Eden project. Please note that these are non-smoking cottages. We will accept some pets by arrangement.
Both of these properties can be rented out together to accommodate the larger party.

Both Longsteps and Littlesteps newly refurbished for 2011, very well appointed, tastefully decorated, comfortable and fully centrally heated. Very rare in Fowey, they both have fantastic outside space with great views and plenty of seating. Bed linen included. Towels not included.

We are happy to allow small, well behaved dogs in the cottages. We would ask that they are not allowed on the furniture or left unattended. Can you bring your own bedding and ensure any 'mess' is removed from the gardens.

LONG STEPS

Bedroom 1: double bed, delightful matching furniture and wash basin. Lovely view of the estuary.
Bedroom 2: two full size single beds.
Bedroom 3/snug area: Laura Ashley day bed and wardrobe.
Sitting room: decorated to reflect the cottage feeling and includes a two seater sofa and two comfy arm chairs, TV, video, DVD player and an electric 'wood burning' effect stove.
Kitchen/dining room: recently renovated fully fitted kitchen with dining area for 6 with views of the garden and Church. Appliances include electric oven/grill with halogen hob and extractor fan. Integrated dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge.
Bathroom: Wood panelled bath and shower over. Wash hand basin with shaver point - Separate WC.

Outside Longsteps: the back door leads out onto a good size private decked patio with table/chairs and a good array of potted palms and plants. Lovely views of St Fimbarrus Church and glimpses of the estuary.

LITTLE STEPS

Bedroom 1: Laura Ashley double bed, bedside table and lamp, fitted wardrobe, cast iron fireplace and TV.
Shower room: walk in corner shower with large shower head and body jets, wash hand basin and WC, Velux roof light and centrally heated towel rail.
Kitchen: Newly fitted kitchen, built in oven/grill with halogen hob and integrated fridge and Velux roof light.
Sitting room: recessed fireplace, comfortable sofa, white welsh dresser, TV with DVD.

Outside Littlesteps: the back door leads out to a good size private garden with table/chairs, which enjoys fantastic views of St Fimbarrus church and towards the woods on the other side of the estuary. The patio leads onto the garden to a further seating area in a pergola where you can enjoy the views of the church and the estuary
