LEES NOOK HOLIDAYS RETIRED
/ SUSPENDED PAGE ~ Beachside self catering properties
~ Lees Nook advertised a cottage (sleeps 8 +baby) and three bungalow type chalets (sleeps 6 +baby) tucked behind the sand dunes with direct access to the beach and coastal footpath which in the spring and early summer is carpeted in wildflowers of many colours. A sight that should not be missed. Lees Nook Cottage, which is now much enlarged, was originally built before the turn of the 19th century and was probably a small stone dwelling. The cottage was purchased by the wrecker George Lee in 1846 using his ill-gotten gains from the wreck of the Good Samaritan which foundered on the rocks near Bedruthan Steps. Hence the name Lees Nook.
CONSTANTINE BAY CHALET ACCOMMODATION
Constantine Bay is reputed to be one of the most beautiful beaches on the North coast of Cornwall, having on one side rock pools suitable for children at low tide and at high tide a safe lagoon for swimming and snorkelling. On the other side of the beach is a life guard patrolled surfing and bathing area backed by the dunes. The coastal footpath runs north to Boobyıs Bay, good for low tide surfing, and on to Trevose Head, Padstow and beyond. To the south is Treyarnon Bay with it's natural rock pool and surfing. All the beaches are patrolled by experienced life guards from the end of May to mid-September.
