Lakeview Lodge is ideally positioned within the heart of the Cornish countryside.

Being less than 10 miles to Newquay, Padstow and St Austell, the Lodge is the ideal base to explore all that the north coast, south coast and inland Cornwall has to offer. The surfing mecca of Newquay, quaint fishing village of Padstow, and conservation treasure The Eden Project are all a stone's throw away.

Accommodation

Lakeview Lodge is tastefully decorated to provide a contemporary living space throughout. The downstairs living areas include a light and airy open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. There are two double bedrooms, two triple bedrooms and two family bathrooms. There is further living space upstairs, consisting of a second lounge/sun lounge and dining area. There are solid oak wooden floors throughout the living areas.

Downstairs:
Large open-plan living space, comprising kitchen, dining room and lounge. Kitchen has a double oven, grill, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer. Solid oak floors throughout. Huge glass frontage overlooking the lakes.

Living room has leather sofas, TV (with freeview) and DVD machine. Patio doors lead out to large decked area (totally enclosed) and garden, complete with table and chairs. Ideal for BBQs, breakfast with the ducks, or a glass of wine to wind down in the evening.

Family bathroom, includes luxury shower cubical with optional bodyjets, and handheld or fixed point head unit, separate bath, toilet and basin.

Large double bedroom with kingsize bed and large built-in wardrobes. Second double bedroom that sleeps 3 on a bunkbed (double bed at the bottom, single bed on top).

Upstairs:
Large sun-lounge with seating and dining area. Leather sofas, TV (with freeview), DVD machine, stereo system and second dining table. Huge glass frontage overlooks the lakes and surrounding valley. Large patio doors open out onto a decked balcony.

Second family bathroom with electric power shower over bath, toilet and basin.

Large double master bedroom with large built-in wardrobes. Fourth double bedroom that sleeps 3 on a bunkbed (double bed at the bottom, single bed on top).

Location

The Lodge is set within a beautiful rolling landscape with views across the valley. The balcony and downstairs decked area are ideal for watching the sun rise and the haze lift in the mornings, while the geese leave the Retallack lakes for their day's adventures.

As the name suggests, the Lodge overlooks a lake, with daily visits from a family of ducks, some swans and kingfishers. The gently rippling stream flowing down the hill into the lake provides a relaxing soundtrack, ideal for enjoying a glass of wine sitting by the lake, watching the sunset.
