Kerensa Vean is a self-contained Annexe attached to the owner's bungalow with its own parking at the side and small garden to the rear. It is set in a quiet location in the village of Rusudgeon, approximately one mile from Prussia Cove with its quiet, unspoilt coves and beaches on the coastal path between Praa Sands and Marazion.

Two miles away is Praa Sands, with its mile long sandy beach having beach café, shop, Sand Bar & Restaurant. There is also Life Guard cover at one end. Rosudgeon is within a 15 minute drive of both Helston & Penzance and about 20 minutes from St Ives & Hayle Towans on the North Coast. From Penzance there is a helicopter and ferry service to The Isles of Scilly.

ACCOMMODATION

Bedrooms: One double bedroom.

Bathrooms: En suite bathroom with corner shower, hand basin and WC.

Living Room: Lounge to the front of the property with Flat Screen, Digital TV, DVD Player and Ipod dock.

Kitchenette to one side having Combination Microwave cooker, gas hob, fridge, sink and ample cupboard space.

There is access to the owner's utility area at the rear of the property and guests are welcome to use the washing machine there.

Cleaning/Towels/linen: All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided. The apartment will be cleaned before your arrival and the bed will be made. For guests staying longer than one week, fresh linen will be provided each week.

The property has gas central heating when required and there is an electric fire in the lounge. Gas and electricity are included in the price.

Accessibility
Kerensa Vean is on a bus route but a car is recommended.

Outside
Double glazed doors lead from the kitchenette to the parking area at the front. There is parking at the side of the property and access to a small sitting or eating area at the rear.

LOCATION

Coast/Beach
Praa Sands with its mile long sandy beach is set in Mounts Bay and is a five minute drive away. Between Praa and Penzance there are beaches at Prussia Cove, Rinsey, Keneggy, Perranuthno and Marazion with access to St Michael's Mount. Porthleven is about a ten minute drive away and the beautiful coastline on the Lizard Peninsula is accessible from Helston. On the North Coast there are the beaches on St Ives Bay and there is Park and Ride access from St Erth, travelling by train around the bay with lovely views across Lelant and Hayle.

Golf
The nearest Golf Course is at Praa Sands and there are courses at Mullion and St Ives.

Newquay Airport 45 miles. Rail station at Penzance 8 miles with regular main line services. Bus services from Penzance and Helston 2 hourly.

Further Details
Local small supermarket with post office and garage forecourt within a few yards of the property. Larger supermarkets at Helston, Long Rock and Penzance. There is also an excellent Farm Shop about a mile away.

Eating Out
There are good pubs serving food in Rosudgeon, Newtown, Ashton, Helston and Porthleven. The Lion & Lamb at Ashton (about three miles away) is highly recommended. There are several restaurants in Helston and Penzance and for a special night out we would recommend The Grove at Sithney, between Ashton and Helston. For take away meals there is an excellent Pizza Restaurant in Helston and a Kentucky Chicken at Long Rock as well as the Fish and Chip Shop nearby. There is a Cantonese Restaurant about a mile away towards Penzance with both take away and dining in facilities.
