Inow Farmhouse advertised their Self-catering holidays
near helford Passage on this page from November 2009 until the property
was placed on the market in 2014. Sitting up in the trees just a five
minute walk from the beautiful Helford River and the pretty
village of Port Navas, this lovely old farmhouse
looks out over woodland, valleys and lush green fields with glimpses of
Port Navas Creek through.

Helford River Holiday Accommodation
Inow Farmhouse offered three bedrooms, two
bathrooms, a large kitchen dining room, a sitting room and
utility room. We pride ourselves on having extremely comfortable
beds, high quality linen and towels and central heating throughout. We
have Wi-Fi and TV available but we are happy to switch off one
or other or both to give you a holiday of total peace if you prefer!
The Helford River - Helford Passage
Port Navas is one of the prettiest villages on the
Helford. Its small, almost alpine charm is crowned by the views
of the estuary itself, easy access to the water and calm, tidal moorings.
The Port Navas Yacht Club (of which you are a member
as a visitor to Inow Farmhouse) offers good beer, wine and food in beautiful
surroundings and right by the water's edge. It is from here that you can
access your mooring should you choose to keep a boat close at hand during
your stay.
Port Navas is also home to The Duchy of Cornwall
Oyster Farm, a recently revived oyster farm which supplies many of
the best restaurants in the country (and beyond) with seafood from the
clean waters of the Helford River.
The village lies between Constantine and Mawnan
Smith. Both villages offer excellent shopping facilities, particularly
Constantine Stores, which has an extraordinarily large and varied selection
of scotch whiskies! However, the main shopping town of Falmouth
lies approximately six miles away with the cathedral city of Truro
lying around twelve miles distant.

Helford Passage sits just around the corner, easily
accessible by water should you wish to leave the car behind, and it is
here that you can hire a small boat for the duration of your holiday and
keep it on our mooring in Port Navas Creek, an ambling five minute
walk down the hill.
Exploring the Helford River by boat is probably
the best way to enjoy the area. Whatever the weather, the beauty of Frenchman's
Creek, The Ferryboat Inn, Helford Passage, Helford
Village, Trebah, Grebe and, of course, Durgan,
shines through.
There are plenty of fabulous beaches to choose from,
either by boat or by land. These are safe, small, uncrowded and simply
lovely!
Here are some of the activities that are close at hand:
Walking, boating, sailing, rowing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, water-skiing,
swimming.
A little further afield to the North Coast and we
can add surfing, bodyboarding and "big-beaching" to the list.
Whatever the holiday you choose, be it relaxing, adventurous,
energetic or restful, be assured that you will find what you need staying
at Inow Farmhouse.
