Harbour
Cottage is situated yards from the pretty harbour of Padstow set
back in a lovely cobbled stone courtyard.
Steeped in history dating back to the 16th century with connections
to Sir Walter Raleigh during his time as Lord Lieutenant
of Cornwall.
Full of character yet enjoying all modern conveniences.
A traditionally furnished cottage with combined sitting room/kitchen
with dining area.
The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher,
microwave, food processor etc.
The sitting room has a wood burner and TV,DVD player, CD player
and comfortable sofa and chairs.
On the first floor there is a twin bedroom, with stunning
views over the estuary, a double bedroom and spacious bathroom
with bath, separate shower and WC.
The second floor has a double bedroom with again wonderful
views over the estuary, and a shower room with WC.
Access to the garden is from the kitchen up some steep steps and
the top floor bedroom. There is a paved eating area with dining furniture
and bar b q and a gravelled 'lounging' area which is a real sun trap.
This leads into a good sized pretty lawned garden with established
flower beds.
The 'Wet Room' in the garden houses the washing machine, tumble
dryer and another fridge/freezer Parking for one car is available
in North Quay Car Park opposite the Shipwrights pub.
Due
to the age and character of the cottage we cannot allow children
under the age of 8 and do not recommend the accommodation
for the elderly or infirm.
Harbour Cottage is perfectly positioned to enjoy all
that the pretty fishing harbour has to offer. Great restaurants, including
Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth, and traditional pubs.
Beautiful beaches with various water activities such
as water skiing, kayaking, surfing to name but a few, cycle rides including
the Camel Trail and of course fabulous walks along the Cornish
coast.
