Golowji View (Cornish for lighthouse view) cottage, sleeps 2 + *2

Our small working farm, owned by the family for a generation, stands in 10 acres of its own land looking out over open countryside towards the sea. A peaceful, rural retreat of charm & character. We have cattle, horses, pigs, dogs, cats, free range hens (eggs for sale), and of course, our splendid geese!

A warm welcome awaits you at our traditional granite stone self catering cottage set in the unspoilt peaceful countryside of West Cornwall.

The kitchen is stylish and very well equipped, with beautiful oak cupboards and oak flooring, matching the dining table and chairs. There is a small utility room also equipped with wash basin and toilet, off the dining area. Walking through to the sun lounge, with comfortable sofa, *converting to a metal framed bed, a door leads out on to a private enclosed patio with graveled area, seating and barbeque.

Upstairs is the spacious double bedroom with large oak framed bed, built in wardrobe, wall mounted TV. and ensuite shower room. There are french doors from the bedroom, leading out to an open balcony with stairs leading down to the stables (not suitable for young children).

Location

Golowji View is situated within open farmland, and has moorland a short walk away. The stunning National Trust view point of Chapel Carn Brea, from which you can see the Western peninsular, is well worth the walk and on a clear day the Isles of Scilly are visible from the top. In the charming town of St Just, in Penwith, the most Westerly in England (Land's End 3 miles) you can enjoy a stroll to one of the five public houses or partake in a game of golf at the Cape Cornwall Golf and Country Club with an indoor swimming pool, sauna and Hot Tub There are also many art galleries, craft shops tea rooms and places to explore.

West Cornwall is laced with a network of footpaths, that can be explored along with a variety of steep cliffs, gentle bays and harbours for a relaxing holiday in an area of outstanding natural beauty. A good location for stunning beaches, rock pool rambles, pony rides, sailing, diving, walking on the SW Coastal path or with the small provincial airport only 1/2 mile away, scenic flights, or a day trip to the Isles of Scilly. Pubs, shops and restaurants in St Just, are a 5 minute drive away. Penzance, just 7 miles with all the amenities you would expect of a small town, including theatre and cinema.

There is ample off-road parking. Changeover day: Saturday; Arrival after 3pm - Departure by 10am
