The Wreck holiday cottage in the heart of Downalong, St Ives, is a wonderful 19th Century four-storey cottage - centrally located, the holiday home leads straight onto the cobbled lane of "The Digey" - just moments from the harbour, beaches, shops, restaurants and cafes.
The Holiday Home boasts original stripped floorboards, beautifully light rooms and offers a great base for a family enjoying a holiday in St Ives. Wind breaks, buckets and spades are supplied for your enjoyment outdoors plus a chest with games for the family in the sitting room.
The Holiday Cottage, is constructed on four floors. The kitchen and bathroom are on the ground floor. The lounge occupies the whole of the first floor - open plan, two sofas, SMART TV, Blu-ray DVD, dining table with eight chairs, bench with cushions, electric fire, fixed stair gate. Steep wooden stairs to second floor. On the second floor is a toilet, a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with full sized bunk beds, the cot and high chair are kept in the cupboard of this bedroom if needed.
The third floor has one bedroom with bunk beds and one with a double bed. This bedroom has views over the harbour. All bedrooms have wash basins. The house is fully equipped for eight people. All facilities are provided including shower, TV, DVD, video player, microwave, stereo, fridge freezer, washing machine, central heating and instant hot water.
Bedding, towels and tea towels are provided.
This is probably the best house in the best position in St Ives. With sea views over St Ives harbour and the Bay. We love it and know that you will too
The Wreck is in the centre of "The Digey", the old quarter of St Ives. The Wreck, holiday cottage was built in the middle of the 19th Century.
