Fernwood is situated on a small cul de sac in the quiet and secluded village of St Columb Minor and yet only 10 minutes away from the popular resort of Newquay with its famous beaches and golden sands.

This holiday home is a modern chalet style house, sleeping up to 9 guests. It is situated in a cul de sac in the quiet and secluded village of St Columb Minor

Bedroom 1 is a large room with King sized bed and matching pine furniture. Bedroom 1 sleeps up to 2

Bedroom 2 is a large double room with double bed, single bed and wardrobes. (Can be used as a twin if desired). Bedroom 2 sleeps up to 3

Bedroom 3 is a compact room with bunk beds and storage. All beds have duvets and pillows. Bedroom 3 sleeps up to 2 The first floor bathroom comprises of a bath, wash basin, toilet and airing cupboard.

Ground Floor Bedroom 4 sleeps up to 2 people.

A double bed and a built in wardrobe are the main features of this room. Being adjacent to the Shower room/toilet, has been said to offer the ensuite feel.

From the lounge there are patio doors leading to a sunny conservatory, which leads out on to a secluded rear garden with patio and lawn. The garden backs on to a field where horses are kept.

The lounge/diner is comfortably furnished and also includes gas fire, television and piano (which you are welcome to play although it may be slightly out of tune!). The kitchen is able to boast the convenience of having a gas cooker, microwave and washing machine.

The utility room gives extra space to accommodate you and your family and leads into the back garden. As you enter Fernwood through the front door, you will be greeted by the inviting hallway. The house is fully centrally heated and the price you pay includes duvets, pillows and bed linen.

Our closest beach, “Porth” is only 15 minutes walk from St Columb Minor. The village itself has a Public House, church, grocery stores and country walks.

Surrounded by quiet countryside but with easy access to the town and its famous beaches. Located on the north Cornish coast, the village of St. Columb Minor is ideally situated for touring Cornwall.

It is within easy reach of tourist attractions including the world renowned Eden Project. The closest beach to Fernwood is only a 15 minute walk away.
