Set in the quiet "old village" part of Boscastle, this 18th century cottage is full of character, yet with modern amenities.
Recently refurbished and refinished Eden offers a great "home from home", a perfect cosy "get away from it all" cottage.
The sitting room has a slate open fireplace, beamed ceiling, TV, DVD, and Stereo with stairs leading up to the bedroom also with a beamed ceiling. Back on the ground floor there is a shower room with wash basin and toilet. The kitchen is fully fitted with modern units and equipped with hobs, fridge, microwave etc …
There is a small patio at the front of the cottage, pets are welcome, and if you wish to bring a dog there is a very small secure area outside the rear of the cottage.
If you prefer to eat out, The Bottreaux Hotel or the 16th Century Napoleon Inn are less than a minute away.
The historic village of Boscastle has links with the famous authors Thomas Hardy, Sir Richard Grenville and Parson Hawker to name but a few. The little old cottages down the 'Old Road' to the harbour are a pleasant reminder of times gone by.
Boscastle is an ideal base for exploring Cornwall or North Devon, there are many historical houses and gardens to visit, or picturesque villages such as Port Isaac or Clovelly. The area has a number of golf courses for the more active as well surfing beaches and cycling.
You may of course just wish to take in the breath taking scenery of the coastline around our village. It is no wonder that the area is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and was a source of inspiration to famous authors and poets like Thomas Hardy and Sir John Betjeman.
A favourite destination for return visits with visitors who have discovered this special part of Cornwall. The village welcomes guests throughout the year and there is always something to see or do.
