Porthtowan is a small village on the picturesque north Cornish coast and has a wonderful atmosphere.

The blue flag beach is spacious and safe, with large expanses of sand and numerous rock pools at low tide. Porthtowan is famous for its surfing and there are surf-hire shops and tuition in the village. There is even a salt water pool that children, and adults alike, love to explore.

Cornish Blue Apartment is positioned just 3 minutes walk from this amazing beach.

In the village you will find all you need with a local post office, local store and deli, in addition to various beach shops and an ice-cream parlour/juice bar.

There are two bars/restaurants - one of these being the famous Blue Bar - which serve good food all day. There is a good children's play area and you'll find throughout Porthtowan that children and families are very welcome.

For those who love walking, the area is surrounded by National Trust land. The South West Coastal Footpath passes through the area and it is possible to walk at low tide from Porthtowan to Chapel Porth along the beach, returning through the cliff tops.

Cornish Blue is just 1 minute walk to these spectacular cliff tops.

If you want to explore further a field, then Porthtowan is central to many other resorts and attractions in Cornwall including The Eden Project, St Ives and Padstow.

HOLIDAY APARTMENT

Cornish Blue is a luxury apartment and its position within Porthtowan allows for wonderful views from the balcony, whilst giving easy access to all of the villages amenities.

This first floor 2 bedroom apartment is finished to a very high standard, including real oak floors, sandstone bathrooms and a beautifully appointed kitchen.

Cornish Blue also has its own private parking space and has central heating throughout.

The accommodation comprises of:-

• hallway - with storage for wet suits and beach paraphernalia.
• main bedroom -with en suite and fully fitted wardrobes and a king size bed allowing a restful nights sleep listening to the Atlantic ocean.
• second bedroom - this room has two comfortable full sized single beds, chest of drawers and wardrobe. There is also a travel cot available for your use within the apartment.
• main bathroom - fully tiled beautiful bathroom with a full size bath, shower, towel rail, mirror, shaver point.
• lounge - this room has large patio doors opening onto the balcony, real oak floors, rugs and leather sofas (one of which turns into a lovely bed). The view from here out over the village is amazing and can only be matched by the sunsets. Also available for your entertainment are many facilities such as digital flat screen tv, dvd, and i-pod docking station. We also have free wifi access in the apartment.
• dining area - oak dining space with chairs. There is a highchair available for your use within the apartment.
• kitchen - a well equipped kitchen with all 'mod cons' including cooker and hood, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer machine, microwave and much more….
• balcony - a special space for enjoying a relaxing drink with views extending out over the village and to the sea beyond.
