Self Catering Camping and Caravan Park
Cornish Coasts is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty with far reaching sea and rural views from all pitches. It is one of the oldest established parks in the area although it has been updated to accommodate today's modern requirements. It is a small family run park, which caters for the quieter lifestyle as we have no clubhouse on site, yet the location just off the main A39 trunk road gives easy access to many local amenities and is an ideal base to explore the rest of Cornwall or North Devon. Holiday Caravans We have four fully equipped 6 and 8 berth caravans to let all with sea views. Two are two bedroom six berth, one is a three bedroom six berth and the newest addition to our fleet is a four bedroom eight berth. All have showers, digital TV and prices are inclusive of gas and electricity. Touring Caravans and Camping Our 30 electric hook up pitches have been recently upgraded
and are set on level terraces to optimise the sea views. Several hard
standings are also available if required.
Site facilities
Bude and area Visit the rugged North Cornwall coast that faces the Atlantic where there are many beaches and coves to explore with the town of Bude, "the loveliest peace of Cornwall" only 5 miles north of the park, which has two large sandy beaches that are popular with both families and surfers. Other facilities include a leisure centre, indoor pool with waves, golf, putting green, bowls, tennis, squash, fishing and horse riding. Heading north from Bude is Sandymouth, on to Coombe Valley, Duckpool and then to Morwenstow and the church of Parson Robert Hawker. Heading south from Bude is Widemouth Bay (only 2 miles from the park) which is a sandy and rocky beach enjoyed by families and surfers, with many rockpools to explore when the tide is out. Then following the coast road to Millook and Crackington Haven - both of which have some incredible rock formations and well worth a look. Just a little further south is the pretty harbour town of Boscastle, and the on to the magical Arthur's castle at Tintagel. Inland there are also many places to visit; the ancient capital of Cornwall, Launceston. Tamar lakes, for fishing and water sports and much more. Bodmin Moor for the highest point in Cornwall, Brown Willy, and also for Daphne du Maurier's famous Jamaica Inn. Not to be forgotten is the North Cornwall Coastal Path. Most of the above places can be reached by walking along the coastal path which has some spectacular views. Cornish Coasts is an ideal touring location for both North Devon and Cornwall. Within an hour's drive are Clovelly and Westward Ho to the north; Padstow, Newquay and Truro to the south; and even down to the south coast of Looe, Fowey, St. Austell and, of course, Plymouth for the new National Marine Aquarium and, of course, a must for 2001 is a visit to the Eden Project now open near St Austell.
