- Coast path to cliffs and beaches..
- Stunning beaches at Porthcurno and Sennen
Penberth Cove is a working fishing cove with daily landings
of fresh fish and shellfish. At low tide, there is a small sandy beach
with rock pools, which is a safe and fascinating seashore playground for
all ages.
The Cove is a favourite angling location and there are
spectacular views towards the Lizard and on fine days to the Scillies.
Nearby are sandy beaches, the open air Minack Theatre, coastal walks and
spectacular wildlife.
Penberth is a quiet hamlet, nestled in a sheltered valley,
leading down to the fishing cove, with about 10 traditional stone cottages
scattered along its length, and surrounded by National Trust owned woodlands
and cliffs.
