Situated in the unspoilt and picturesque Cornish fishing village of Mousehole (pronounced “Mousul” in Cornish) just 3 miles from Penzance. The cottage is in a prominent position. All windows command spectacular sea views over Mousehole harbour, St Michael's Mount, Mounts Bay and the Lizard Peninsula.

Mousehole is an excellent centre for exploring all of West Cornwall whether walking or touring, with many fishing coves, rugged moors and magnificent coastal scenery. Market and seaside towns such as St Ives, Falmouth, Helston and Truro are all near by as well as Penzance and Newlyn which is only a mile (for all the freshest fish and seafood anybody could want).

Mousehole itself has a beautiful harbour with a small sandy beach and is really quite unspoilt. It has a grocery shop, fish & chip shop, newsagent, cafés and “The Ship” (the local pub) and three quality restaurants.

Flambards Theme Park (the largest in Cornwall) is only 30 minutes drive and the Eden Project l hours drive.

Also there are several very pretty coves/beaches on the coastal path from Mousehole (Bramble Cottage is on it) to Land’s End including Lamorna Cove, Logan Rock, Treen, St Leven, the famous “Minack” open air theatre and Porthcurno.
