The historic and beautifully restored Blable Farm Barns are situated on our family run beef farm near Padstow. Our 3 Victorian Barns, built of Cornish stone from our own land, have been carefully restored to enhance many of their original features to provide you with a comfortable and memorable stay.

The spacious rooms and stunning hand crafted interiors offer exclusive 5 Star luxury, with each Barn having large en suite bedrooms, beautiful open beams and cosy log burners. Each Barn enjoys picturesque views of the country valley towards Little Petherick Creek.

All the rooms are beautifully furnished with central heating throughout. Each property has all the modern conveniences to make your stay a relaxing one including dishwasher, washing/drier machine, electric cooker and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, cafetiere, toaster, electric kettle, iron, widescreen TV and DVD player, CD/radio player, CD's, videos, books, board games, hair dryers, cots and highchairs.

The Barns have access to the large 2 acre garden with outdoor furniture. We have a Farm Trail, where you can walk along the peaceful valley, or take the adjoining Saints Way Footpath to Padstow.

The Linhay - sleeps 4 - Friday Changeover

The single story barn has beautiful open beams and was previously used to house the younger cattle in the wintertime. "Linhay" is Cornish for open fronted cattle shed.

Under the large wooden roof timbers, the lounge area looks towards the log burner and the French doors which, when opened, take you out onto your patio area with garden and valley scenes.

The kitchen and dining area are situated conveniently in the same area. There is a ground floor en-suite bedroom, which at your choice can be a super king, or twin beds. The handcrafted oak stairs lead you to the Gallery bedroom sleeping two with en-suite facilities and overlooks the lounge area. Ground Floor: Kitchen & lounge/diner, 1 super king/twin bedroom with en-suite. Gallery: 1 king size double bedroom & en suite.

Millers Loft - Sleeps 6 - Changeover day Saturday

Originally the first floor was used for the storage and milling of oats and barley, which were then fed to the cattle below on the ground floor. The wooden Barn door opens into the lounge, where comfortable settees surround the large arched window overlooking the courtyard.

It has a Cornish stone fireplace with wood burner and logs. Adjoining this room is the handy, well equipped oak kitchen and separate dining room with views of the open country. Leading from it is your patio area with garden furniture.

The three spacious bedrooms all containing rustic pine furniture, enjoy peaceful valley views. Ground Floor: Kitchen/lounge, Dining Room. 1 super king/twin bedroom with en-suite. First floor: 1 king size bedroom & en suite, 1 twin bedroom with adjoining bathroom.

The Roundhouse - Sleeps 8 Saturday Changeover

The Roundhouse contains a spacious living/dining area in a space where in the past the animals worked the mill. The striking Cornish stone walls, high open beams and wooden floor complement the comfortable settees, large dining table and log burner.

The French doors lead to the large garden with uninterrupted views of the peaceful valley. It is a lovely place to relax on your garden furniture. There is an adjoining kitchen, with all the modern conveniences, overlooking the same country view. It has its own separate washing/drying room.

The four large beautifully furnished bedrooms enjoy views of the valley and courtyard. Ground Floor: Living/dining room, Kitchen, Washer/drier room, 1 king size double bedroom & en-suite, 1 twin bedroom with adjoining bathroom. First floor: 1 king size double bedroom & en-suite, 1 super king bedroom/twin bedroom & en suite.

Location

Padstow, the picturesque harbour village famous for its seafood, May Day 'Obby 'Oss celebrations, National Lobster Hatchery and Rick Stein, is approx 4 miles away. Whilst Wadebridge, a busy market town is 3 miles away. If walking or cycling are your pleasures you could try the level 17 mile Camel Trail, which was converted from a disused railway, and takes you along the scenic Camel Estuary from Padstow to Wenfordbridge. The Saints Way Footpath, which passes our Barns, starts at Padstow and finishes in Fowey
