Barton
Farm is a family run dairy farm where a warm welcome, good food and
comfort are a priority.
The charming open beamed farmhouse
is surrounded by gardens.
Situated in a very quiet countryside location, the farm
is just 1 mile from the village of Gweek at the head of the
Helford river, which is also home to the National Seal Sanctuary
and just 3 miles from the very popular Flambards Theme Park at
Helston.
B&B ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation consists of three attractive bedrooms
with digital tv and wireless broad band, tea/coffee making facilities,
clock/radio, hair dryer and room heaters. There are two bathrooms/showers
and own private facilities can be arranged for double rooms if required.
For families - a family unit consisting of 1
double room plus 1 twin room can have their own private bathroom. All
bedrooms are situated on the first floor.
We have a lovely open fired TV lounge (Sky TV) and dining
room that guests can sit and relax in peace and quiet if they choose.
Barton Farm is an ideal base for touring South West
Cornwall and visiting all of the popular scenic areas such as the
beautiful Helford river areas and the unique Lizard Peninsula officially
designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - an area of
many contrasts.
Land's End, St. Ives and Newquay are only approximately
40 minutes away by car.
Home of National Maritime Museum, the Port of
Falmouth is only a short drive away which also boasts several beautiful
sandy beaches ideal for swimming, sunbathing or just simply relaxing
on! Other excellent small, quiet, sheltered sandy coves and rugged coastline
to explore, can be found around the Lizard Peninsula.
Why not visit the Eden Project and then travel
south and see many of the other lovely Cornish traditional Cornish Gardens,
Trebah and Glendurgan are only 15 minutes away.
