A guided shore fishing experience aimed at those people who wish to dip their toes into the wonderful world of sea angling from the Cornish shoreline.
Planning a holiday in Cornwall and not sure where to fish? Have you always wanted to try your hand at shore fishing? Would you like to experience the beautiful coastline of Cornwall where only the locals know?
Each of our adventures consists of a three hour guided session, fishing from the shore and surrounded by some of the most stunning scenery in the country.
Your bait and tackle is all provided for you. It's included in the price, all set up and ready to go.
Typically, we will arrange a meeting point near our agreed fishing mark and make acquaintance. You will have received a full itinerary before this, suggesting what to bring and what to wear to ensure we are all set for our adventure.
This is where the adventure begins - with a small trek to a suitable fishing mark, sharing stories amongst the ranks on the way.
On arrival at our spot, we highlight the wonderful nature and wildlife that thrives around us. A brief, but concise, 'how to' talk follows, detailing the principles and ideology of our fishing methods - and then we cast away into the shimmering Cornish waters.
As long as the fish have read the script, a super session then begins.
All our guided fishing trips take safety very seriously and we take great care to look after all of our anglers.
Safety is important to us for everyone so we talk through the dangers and importance of safety in our surroundings. Life jackets are available for all ages, just let us know if you would require one.
Please bear in mind that shoreline terrain can often be rocky and slippery and may not be for everyone in terms of accessibility.
If you have special requirements we may still be able to provide a fishing adventure for you based on an appropriately accessible location. Do give us a shout and we'll always do our very best to make it happen.
And just as a general rule of thumb for all to note...sensible footwear is a must.

Here's a fishy tale about your guide and the creator of Cornwall Fishing Adventures, Justin. It all started in 1985 for Justin when his father introduced him to the magical world of sea angling. At five years old, Justin can remember the first fishing adventure with his dad, where they fished off of a quay and he has a vivid memory of float fishing in the River Tamar for Mackerel.
Tied to the railings so he didn't fall into the drink with an empty fishing rod bag, for optimum eighties style health and safety, Justin will never forget his first fishing trip and he owes it all to his dear old dad.
Having fished for over 35 years, Just would often get families approaching him whilst fishing around the beautiful Cornwall coast and they nearly always said the same thing.
They admitted that they visit Cornwall every year for a family holiday and that they would love to be able to fish and catch some Cornish fish for their supper.
But where to fish?
What to do to catch something?
When and where to get the bait?
What if Justin could show them, where after just one session they would feel confident and competent enough to go on and enjoy the sport alone in the future? Well, this is how Cornwall Fishing Adventures was created and then became reality.
