The front door leads into the hall with cloakroom and toilet. The hall leads to the kitchen, dining room, and lounge. The ground floor has wood laminate flooring throughout. The large lounge has a lounge suite, colour television and a living flame, coal-effect gas fire. Patio doors from the lounge lead to the garden which has a patio area. The kitchen is an oak fully fitted style with a gas hob,
electric oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, washing machine & dryer etc plus
the usual pans, pots, utensils, china and glassware for your holiday use. |

Stairs lead to the first floor which has a bathroom and 3 bedrooms. The main double bedroom has an en suite shower room. The second bedroom has a single bed and the third bedroom has twin beds. The bathroom has bath, washbasin and toilet - there is no shower over the bath. Currently, whilst duvets and pillows are supplied, bed
linen and towels are NOT provided, please bring your own linen. There
is parking available for 2 cars on private drive. All fuel costs are included
in the rates. Short breaks may be available, please ask. No pets, apart
from guide dogs. No smoking. |

Wake up to views and sound of surf from bed; this sunset can be seen from bedroom window. Mawgan Porth was ranked sixth in the world as best beach holiday destination. There are better known and busier beaches in Cornwall, but few match the rare beauty of Mawgan Porth, where surf is ideal for beginners and all levels. Sandy Court is within a small terrace of houses which back onto a small parking area, which leads directly to the beach. The house is particularly suited to families or couples. It has two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 contains a double bed. Bedroom 2 has a double fold out futon with single bunk above. The bunk is suitable for children up to age 16 years only. A shower room upstairs has a toilet, wash basin and shower. Downstairs has a lounge with T.V. and a kitchen which contains
cooker, oven, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer. There is an

There is a small patio area at the front of the house, and a larger area at the back which is great for barbeques whilst watching the spectacular sunsets (weather permitting!). The beach is a few minutes walk over your own "secret" path across the dunes. Lovely golden sand is great fun for all the family, for everything from sand castles to beach cricket. The house is located in a quiet area 5 minutes walk from the nearby village shops, restaurants, pitch & putt course and two pubs - a quiet family village. There are family eateries minutes walk away, also Surf hire facilities and lessons. A small convenience store caters for your day to day needs. Parking Locations Charlestown village has a post office, several shops and a working harbour. It also has numerous eating places and pubs with Beer gardens within walking distance: the Rashleigh Inn, the Pier House, the Harbourside Inn, Wreckers, Bosun's Diner and Austell. Great places to sample local Cornish produce. Nearby, there are super coastal walks, sailing and other watersports locally. It's just 10 minute's drive to the renowned Eden Project and there are many other fascinating gardens and attractions within the locality.
Mawgan Porth is superbly situated between Newquay (6 miles)
and Padstow (8 miles). It is just minutes drive from Jamie Oliver's 'Fifteen'
or less than 30mins to Rick Stein's in Padstow. The food in these and
other local restaurants just speaks for itself, plenty of local produce
and abundant, fresh seafood. Plenty of leisure facilities are to be found
in the immediate area, such as horse riding, golf, karting, coastal walks,
fishing, aquarium, leisure centre and swimming pool, Children and family
attractions at Dairyland, gardens, and all the nightlife of Newquay within
easy reach. The Eden Project is just half an hour's drive away and you
are centrally based to discover many other attractions in Cornwall, such
as the quaint cobbled streets of St Ives and Padstow or pretty, tucked
away fishing villages with their romantic smuggling history.
